Bruce Nardella President, Network Angels
President and CEO, The MENTOR Network
As president and chief executive officer of The MENTOR Network, Bruce guides the strategy and direction of the organization, and is responsible for ensuring the company’s leadership talent and organizational structure can effectively sustain continued expansion of quality, community-based services. Since joining The MENTOR Network in 1996, Bruce has served in a number of operational leadership roles. After being named president of the Eastern Division in 2003, Bruce led the rapid expansion and diversification of division operations. He was named chief operating officer in 2007 and added the role of president in 2009. Bruce has served as chief executive officer since January 2014.
Bruce began his career in human services more than 30 years ago, providing direct care to youth in a shelter for boys involved in the juvenile justice system. Prior to joining The MENTOR Network, Bruce served as deputy commissioner for the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services, the state’s juvenile justice agency dedicated to promoting positive change in the lives of youth in its care. During that time, he was awarded the Bradford Fellowship to Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Bruce holds an M.P.A. from Harvard University, M.Ed. from Boston University and a B.A. from Colgate University.
